Whether being gay is a choice or not is not the point. I hate that. That implies that being gay is wrong, but that you can't blame gay people because they haven't chosen. It's a way of giving straight people an explanation that will make sense within their logic, so that they can accept it. Still, I like her a lot and we need more people like her

You raise a very good point, and I agree with you. Because I think with some it's a choice and some it isn't. Because I'm bi, but if I really wanted to be straight (if I was ashamed of my sexuality or something) I could probably ignore my attraction to females. I don't know, it's weird.

Right on. Love me some Cho, but whether being gay is a choice or not is not grounds to 'okay' discrimination. I have a right to equal rights even if I choose to wear a mullet. It's so not about the choice/genetics thing. It's simply about human rights.
