There has been sone question as to wether Joan did this scene or not. On the set the afternoon of filming was a network photographer who documented parts of the filming. He and an ASP executive both said Joan did the entire scene herself. Interestingly the scene was supposed to be more violent but Joan would not do it claiming back and neck issues could be agravated. The scene as originally scripted Joan simly would not do and a stunt double the director thought would eb too obvious.

you can clearly tell its a stunt double once blake goes to choke her and knocks her earring off. to me it looks like the stunt double was linda carter from wonder woman.

Everyone seems to have an opinion on this and I don't deny an arguement can be made. But as was told to me the director thought a double would simply be too obvious given the fact filming required closeups of both actors. The scene was envisioned to be more violent but Joan had her limitations and the production was forced to work around them. I mentioned before both dresses in this scene were eventually sold on Ebay as well.

This is my favorite cliffhanger...it isn't over the top like the Moldavian Massacre...it is just backstabbing dirty business deals that drive a man to the brink.
