Why does shit suck now, not everything, but seen things like this makes me wanna get in my time machine and go get everyone stoned since marijuana back then was as potent as cigarettes. I just wanna have a good time in the 40's or 30's or maybe the Roaring 20's. 50, 60, and 70 would be fun too but I wanna see black and white in color. Maybe take a flat screen with me too so they could experience high def.

I remember the mosquito coils well, and was just thinking about them. If I'm not mistaken, the coil itself would mount on a sharp, pointed piece of tin. Just enough to put out someone's eye. But I miss them anyway.

A friend of mine worked in the projection booth at the drive-in where I grew up, and I would sometimes walk back there and say hello. The floor looked like a cutting room floor, littered with parts of film from all the splice jobs he'd done. For reasons I can't explain, it was fun to pick up a piece of film and hold it to the light, and see the characters in each individual frame.
