I still say Wilt is the better scorer, since he played about 12 seasons while Kareem played 20 seasons, but Kareem surpassed him in his 15th anyway. he ended his career 5 years later with over 38,000 points

Yea, but I personally believe Kareem played in more of a competitive era in the 70s and 80s and Wilt played in the 60s when there was not as much "professional" play. The Celtics or Lakers of the 80s would have destroyed any pro team of the 60s easily.

Jordan was no where close to the record and frankly I don't think he could have lasted the years as a guard to do it. Height never goes away so centers have more longitivity in the league than guards.
