This is the beginning of the Chicago portion of the America/Chicago concert at the PNC Bank Arts Center, June 23, 2007 in Holmdel, NJ. Chicago is introduced, then they perform a portion of "Introduction" (with Robert Lamm on leads). This leads into "Questions 67 and 68." This was an awesome way to start the concert!

Robert lamm has the better vocal range to actually SOUND like Terry Kath versus Bill Champlin. Much better to have Bobby Lamm as Terry!!

You're right, I made this video and I agree it's not that great (especially the sound fading in and out). But hey, I was using the movie mode on my camera. I was sitting in the first row right behind the camera man, which is why it was hard for me to get a clear shot of the horns. But I'm glad I made the video, as Introduction is one of my favorite songs. I'd sure enjoy seeing other recordings of it from this tour, but mine is the only version I've come across so far.

Very true. If anyone's listened to Chicago extensively from the beginning, Lamm's voice is very close to Kath's - just not as deep a timbre.

On the one hand it's nice to see them bringing this back. And Lamm sounds great: his vocals have deepened and improved as the band has declined. But those who say overall this lacks fire are right. And when Jason starts singing I just have to turn it off. At best a shadow of the old band. At worst, well...

Chicago brought the fire this year. I saw them in July and was blown away by the energy. I'm sorry for all the naysayers who can't enjoy it! Chicago is as awesome as ever.
