Never forget that the USA killed many million people in the last century. Their presidents and intelligence services betray everyone wheter friend or foe! They are guilty of unimaginable crimes against so many (Cuba, Afghanistan, Indonesia, Bolivia, Korea, Vietnam, ... hard to find a country where they didn't abet a war or a revolt and support dictators for their own benefit). No one country is without its own problems. The U.S. had its own tendencies to hurt its own people by helping other nations first and stupid stuff like gun control, reverse discrimination, favoritism in favor of the rich, and total apathy to its own citizens in matters like health insurance and jobs. When I think about it, at least the U.S.S.R. was more egalitarian than the U.S.

A lot of ethnic minorirtes,preferred the old days where they were not discriminated and had social security. They might have been poorer than other countries but at least they had confidence in their country to maintain food and shelter, and a sense of national pride espoused by their government's stubborn sense of self-sustenance.
