Judy Collins and Steven Stills reunite, along with Graham Nash, on Nash's 1990 TV interview show. It was Stephen Stills that taught the Ian Tyson's Someday Soon song to Judy, while they were dating in 1968. Stills later wrote "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes" about their relationship.

"Someday Soon" and Judy Collins' voice, a great mix. But the producers cheapened this entire experience. On stage they promoted this as a "surprise" to Judy, Steven, and thus the audience as a "spontaneous" piece. Why cannot anyone acknowledge that they have worked on a "set" or "gig" or even an "individual" song for the benefit of their listeners, audience, themselves? It negates value; not only the intellect of their audience, but of themselves, their legacy, and their future listeners.

Songs, especially great ones, are meant to be sung, not filed away on a shelf somewhere. Even if Collins can't hold the high notes quite as long (I'm not sure I agree), the opportunity to hear her sing it with Steven Stills and Grahm Nash is a treasure - what folk music is really about.
