R4 can't run movies better, but I can fit 2 or 3 movies in the same amount of space needed to fit 1 PSP movie.
You'll have to keep on buying new memory sticks to hold your movies, making it even more expensive.
I prefer MP3's on my DS to my friend's PSP, also I can put my DS in my pocket without the fear of getting it scratched.
Most stuff you download for the PSP is illegal. R4 isn't illegal if you only use it for homebrew, movies, and music.
