SYNOPSIS
Never done before him... Never done after him. The true king of cocaine. At his peak he sold 2,000 keys a week, reaped gross profits of $70 million a month, and ran an operation with over 150 soldiers to support him. In his life champagne flowed like water, trips to Vegas, New York, and Los Ange
les were the norm, and $150,000 shopping sprees were nothing. At the height of Washington, D.C.'s brutal crack epidemic in 1987, there was a 22 year old man responsible for distributing 90% percent of Columbian Cocaine onto the city's streets, this man is Rayful Edmond III. In the media's eyes he
was guilty until proven innocent, but in the streets eyes he was a hero who made it to the top. This is his story. A story of Power, Money, Murder, Betrayal and the rise and fall of the Edmond's Empire.

Yeah I feel that his life should be put on screen. Eventhough it ends tragically I think that something positive can be gained from his story. He had tremendous will and drive, if he would have put that same effort somewhere more constructive and positive I think he would have had more longevity.

his not the source of corruption, but his certainly a contributer of it. But I never would give any credit to people like that... How many people look at him, how many people been inspired to follow the darkness he walk... many weak minded people out there. The world has enough corruption enough, why add more? Media nowadays... things they do for money, regardless the side effect it has to blind people

I don't no if Jay Z sold drugs but he had alot of money to get that 50/59 venture that he did get so I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and because of the drug dealing he's able to provide a better enviorment for a good amont of ppl including kids in africa

No one could have been Rafel but Rafel at that time. He was selling pure Columbian COCAINE...ppl back then (Nation-wide) and folks now aren't selling pure coke for the most part/ Neither are they selling anything close to 2 keys a week.

There will always be drug dealers. But as far as the "Big kingpins", guys makin over like a hundred Million a year. Thats a thing of the past. The market isnt set up to make that kinda money anymore. You need a huge network, and a killer connect. The problem is the police learnd so much about how to stop guys like that BECAUSE of guys like that in the 80's.

Yes, drug dealing in the 70s and 80s was much more accessible. Law enforcement was often ignorant and even more often corrupt- bribes back then were very common. Importing and distributing $1,000,000 amounts of cocaine and heroin weekly was commonplace in the drug game back then. Jon Roberts, George Jung, Rayful, Frank Lucas, Rick Wershe- all sorts of entrepreneurs from that era. That level is rare today- but it does exist. We just haven't heard their story because they havent been busted yet...
