The military has not targeted any innocent people. Look up rules of esclation, and lawful targets under "Law of Armed Conflict". Do innocent people get killed? Yes. However the majority of people who have been killed were trying to kill our forces. We don't gas villages and kill at random.

Moral question. Which is worse? Killing 3,000 innocent people on purpose or 300,000 by accident? Just because something is "unintentional" does not take away responsibility or accountability for it's consequences.
