The Holy Land (the land of Israel) history has been full of foreign invaders, not only by so-called "Christians", but also by the "mamluks" which are the Egyptians and many others, including muslims. Judge not, less you be judged - for the measure of judgment you judge others by, you will also receive that same measure of judgment by God.
The main reason some Christians and Muslims seem not to live together "peacefully" as you put it is that these individuals are devout in their individual beliefs and certain of these beliefs clash. True Biblical Christianity is not a "religion", it is "personal, close, loving, intimate relationship" with God. Islam is a "religion" which is not based on personal relationship with God, it is a religion of "works" meaning what they think they can do to reach God.
Your encouraging words are appreciated. People lose interest in their religion for a variety of reasons - one being is that they lose the "passion" for their faith and what it stands for because they are not getting what they expect out of it. But when you KNOW your faith rests and is built upon a rock-solid foundation, one cannot help but to be totally in love and passionate about that faith.
Your comments prove a lack of knowledge on your part regarding the "time of judgment".
God Almighty declares that "a day is like a thousand years" and vice versa. You think that if judgment happens, it is unfair? WHY is it unfair? If someone does you WRONG on a continuous basis, wouldn't you want to administer justice or judgment upon them? Why would God be any different when human beings commit thousands of sins in thoughts, words and deeds during an entire lifetime?
Your comments have good intentions and I commend you for it. Can you justify your comments regarding belief in the same God for Christians and Muslims? Have you conducted, researched and investigated theological studies for Divine Authority of Scripture (Biblical, Qur'anic, historical, documentary, archaeological etc) for justification that the God of Christianity and Islam are One and the Same? To search for Truth does not mean that one is engaging in "wars" as you put it.
When one is painstakingly researching as to what is Truthful and what is not, it is inevitable that disputes, disagreements and debates will occur, but this does not mean that one is engaging in wars. In fact, much is learnt from such an approach in debates and discussions. It is ignorant of you to "assume" that such great efforts cause wars.
In Biblical Scripture, we see how God holds the Man as the One responsible for sin. TRUE. Men cannot control themselves or their behaviour where women are concerned, so women dress modestly to "help" these men to control their gazes and their behaviour. What you are telling me in your comments are already reavealed in Biblical Scripture in more detail, so you are not informing me of anything "new". When one honours and respects God FIRST, then humans can respect one another.
Sorry to disappoint you! I will not die of cancer, since the God Almighty I love and believe is the greatest Healer in the Universe and CAN remove any form of cancer with the breath of His mouth or the simple touch of His hand. How about your poor allah? Can he do the same for you if you had cancer??? JESUS CHRIST IS LORD!
What is a Christian?? One who is in loving close relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and much more. Many people confess to being either Christian, Muslim or whatever religious affiliation they adhere to - what kind of relationship did they have with God?? Mohammed was not god, his teachings were not from God, God does not teach to sleep with little girls or kidnap women, or kill innocent people (even idol worshipers). I hope one day you find true god and not the teachings of Mohammed.
