in Iraq an inspirational video on my camera, which I emailed to Iraq, and my brother's going to flip that I not only met him, but that he took that kind of time to do this, and the line was long behind me LOL. Oh how wonderful for you. Walter Hawkins was my Pastor while I lived out on the west coast. The Love Center Church was packed every Sunday. He was here in St. Louis last month for the funeral of another gospel great, Edward O'Neal, of the famous O'Neal Twins singing group. They recorded together years ago. He spoke such wonderful words at the service. It was wonderful to see him again.

Oh my!!! I didn't know the last O'Neal twin passed away, but thank you for letting me know. I enjoy the vids on Youtube of the both of them, both in the glory days and more closer to recent. So wow, you went to Love Center eh? I want to visit there someday, among other places and ministries. I'm an avid collector of Edwin/Walter music, mainly LP, but of course about everything put on a CD as well... I count on their music when "contemporary" music gets me down.

God knows this man can sing, but I sure wish someone would put some of Bishop Walter Hawkins' sermons on YouTube also. I've been so caught up with his singing all these years but now I want to hear some of his preaching also.

I just love this song and the way he sings it. His high tenor voice is just great. The song had me so in the Spirit when it was sang at my local church at the end of an Illustrated Sermon called the Whip the Hammer and the Cross some years ago. Pastor Ellis is still doing that illustrated sermon, too. This song talks about how Jesus shed His blood on Calvary and that should move any Christians to anointed tears for our salvation.

I did not know the Oneal Twins passed away either. I have their old LP and loved to hear them especially the song "He Chose Me". Thank God for choosing me out of this big wide world to save.
