10th round Mike Tyson vs Buster Douglas.
No one gave James Buster Douglas much of a chance when he faced Iron Mike Tyson on February 11, 1990, in the Tokyo Dome. Tyson was at that point considered the pound-for-pound best boxer on the planet and was seemingly invincible due to his utter domination of the division.

wtf i like tyson his style but he wasn't perfect he is also human. big finger to all the tyson nuthuggers dropping excusecomments on youtube(wouldn't have happened if he was in his prime, out of shape, prison etc. etc). Buster was the better figher... and Tyson is not the greatest fighter of all time.

People say because Tyson had a swollen eye in round 5 which was not taken care of properly and that he did not train hard before the fights was why lost. Don't forget Tyson was fueled with his many ko wins and as the 2 time world boxing champion so was still at his best. And who's fault is it they did not bring any thing for his eye? Douglas recovered perfectly from a knockdown which was only overcounted by a second so you can say that Douglas beat the bastard Tyson while he was at his best

it was 3 seconds...but: if it was just a second of cheating its ok?...lol 100 meter race, runner starts one second earlier its ok, in basketball its now ok if the point is scored 1 second after the end of the game, when a car crosses the finish line one second before what was to be considered second place is now a draw, these are some examples of how the new 1 second rule for sports created by christopher12186 and other cheating fans works....

i disagree, nobody can say that 13 seconds are in fact 8 seconds. a boxer is out if he has one knee on the floor 10 seconds after going down. douglas was out 10 seconds after going down, he was still out 13 seconds after going down. only if there were no clocks could this be disputed. im not a tyson fan, i think his opposition was very weak for a long time, and he would still be beaten by holyfield if he was in his prime, but i get mad at bad referees.

I think mike could come back (i know, how many comebacks can a guy have) with the rite team and mindset. If i was mike i would atleast try, and try hard. After all you only live once and it would be great to go down in history like that.

True, BUT it was Mike Tyson who had to get to the neutral corner before the ref could start the count. Besides, take a look at Buster after he got knocked down. He looked clear headed and just waiting for the right count to get up at. Mike Tyson on the other hand, had his bell rung so bad that he couldn't even put his mouthpiece back in his mouth. He was done.

douglas got up 13 seconds after the ref started to count and tyson was in neutral corner. i dont think he looked clear headed, but even if he was, it doesnt matter because he got up 13 seconds after the count started. if hes on one knee ten seconds after the count started (and this implies that refs should be able to count 10 seconds) he is knocked out.don king is a crook who probably bet against tyson on that fight. tyson was knocked out in round 10 and douglas was out in round 8 .

every man in the world can be KOd.there is always someone better, or a bad night, a distraction, lack of motivation, training, too much confidence. nobody is invincible, cos there are too much people in the world for that to be possible. douglas proved that when refs cant count people lose bets they were not suposed to lose.
