Hey I'm not playing Maiden vs. Judas you know :-) I listen to both with utmost pleasure,even though I have a soft spot for the Lady.How many "Painkiller" for Maiden ? I listen to both Iron Maiden and Judas Priest with great pleasure.Maiden is a bit more melodic with story telling while priest back in the day was straight in your face balls to the walls metal. Both great bands....

Halford w\Priest..., one of the most absolutely energizing shows I have ever seen live! And for those who do not appreciate Maiden, you're nuts! They are one of the corner stones in metal history! They're sound reprodution live is one of the best worldwide and their shows were energetic as well!

The recent Judas Priest may sound different than the classic, but that is necessary to stay original. Priest is one of the top 3 metal bands in the world in my opinion. If you want some good songs from recent album I recommend Judas is rising, Angel, Eulogy, Revolution (all from Angel of retribution) and Death, Pestilence and plague, Nostradamus and Future of mankind (all from Nostradamus). I dont know how far back you stopped listening, but Painkiller is probably their best album.

well if you really enjoy the really classic stuff (sad wings of destiny;stained class; screaming for vengeance, you know the epics :)) you probably won't like angel of retribution, but if you can grasp halfords new bass voice attitude thing :P youll probably enjoy nostradamus, it's basically an entire fucking epic ballad, it's ok :-/ or rather HEAVYMETALFANTASTIC/PRIESTISTHEBESTMUSICALREBOLUTIONSINCELEDZEPPELIN
