While her sister Dorothy was off having a baby, and sister Christine was resting in Florida, the Middle girl of the Sisters McGuire was keeping busy singing with other performers. Here Phyllis joins the late Robert Goulet for an entertaining, harmonious duet, "Darn It Baby That's Love." Goulet evidently liked to perform with other girl singers, like Julie Andrews, Carol Lawrence and on a "Dean Martin Show" he played Nelson Eddy to fellow Canadian, Gisele MacKenzie's Jeanette MacDonald.

This clip is from the 11/11/62 episode of that very popular Sunday night variety show...I'm sure that's a big enough hint! At that time Phyllis was doing solo performances in additon to appearing as a member of The McGuire Sisters. However, it wasn't long before sister Dorothy wanted to stay home and raise her two sons, and sister Christine had a family, too (2 sons) and Phyllis was on her own.
