I totally agree with you, brjess. I mean maybe our Cookie deserves to win this thing but it feels like I am watching a Beauty Contest. David Cook might be more popular and I even heard that his itunes are selling more than other contestants....but it doesn't translate to votes...even Simon said that Archie would probably win because of the granny votes...

If Simon, the acid-tongue critic likes Cook to win Idol and the producers of AI likes Cook to win, then this is the end of AI. Next week does not matter whether or not Cook wins. Cook already won the hearts of Simon, Idol producers and many people. All Cook has to do next week is relax, have fun, do a fantastic job in his performances. If Archuleta wins, then that's even better for Arch's Dad who wants it all for his son. Game over.

David Cook is far more the most talented and he should win. He is like a Bon Jovi and a Daughtrey...he will make awesome music and we will get to hear him all the time on radio. He is more mainstream...even the Kelly Clarkson fans are crazy over him. Daughtrey fans, Taylor fans, Pink fans....Bo fans, Clay fans, and Constantine fans, even love Cook.

yes, regardless of next week david cook is MY american idol, i wont even be watching archie celebrate..why? he doesnt deserve it. i wont watch next year if archie wins, i'm not gonna put my heart into a contestant again only to be put off again. its disappointing. while i think david cook is hot, i think he deserves to win the most.

WHATEVER!!!!Simon is NOT a singer or musician. He is a smart businessman but he's got this one wrong! I agree that Cook is exciting and he's got that spark about him that the viewers enjoy but judging raw talent, Archuleta is way above Cook. Randy, on the other hand, is a singer and musician and has worked with people like Mariah and Whitney. You notice that he's in Archuleta's corner because Archuleta has been the best from day one! Randy knows music!
