Movies is what makes a society as a whole movies want us to think and they want us to make our thinking and turn them in actions thats why they call them "they are just movies" they are just movies is a meaning of addiction, when having a debate about a movie 2 people and 1 loves the movies and the other hates it, the lover will say its just a movie a term of addiction the other one the hater will feel left out and ignored this is a mind control experiment from the movie studios.

Terroism is a vastly over-exaggerated threat. There are many, many problems in our world that far outweigh it, but exaggerating terror benefits warmongers and pro-police state politicians.

I'm sure you already picked up on this: the track that plays out over the last scene in The Matrix is entitled: "Wake Up" by Rage Against the Machine (notice the name of the band as well). ...Another (minor) subliminal maybe suggesting that the audience should resist brainwashing and think for themselves - similar to what you talked about, Rob. I put minor in brackets because it doesn't require a lot of research to find out the track title that plays at the end.

I'm always happy to know that people with brains are still alive and well. Thanks Rob. By the way, as you know, you can't have a war on terror. Terrorism is a way of killing people and not a person. That's like having a war on strangulation or a war on knife stabbing. Thanks again.

Yeah it was barabaric and initially I supported the invasion of Afghanistan. Looking back though 911 was a freak occurence, which the US and UK governments now use as the justification to implement a police state and wage an illegal war in Iraq. Every time they want to infringe on some rights or start a war they say "oh, it's to defend you against the evil terrorists" and bring up 911. If the US hadn't funded and trained the enemy in the first place 911 would never have happened.

3000 people in one day is a hell of a freak occurence I guess the London Subway bombings were a walk in the park by comparison? Police state? Where? I travel to work unimpeded by soldiers asking to see mein papers The only thing that impedes my travel to work is gas prices brought upon us by environmental nazis unwilling to let us drill in our own yard. If the UK hadnt backed out of the colonies there wouldnt be a USA to train afghan rebels fighting the Soviets.

3000 ppl is miniscule compared to some of the atrocities that have been carried out by our governments across the globe since WW2. Just because 911 received mega media coverage doesn't make it worse.
Police State? you ask. Read section 8.02 of the patriot act (passed when congress was closed off because of anthrxa letters sent from US biowar labs). Read the military commissions act. Look at Guantanamo. Look at all the tasering and stop and search stuff going, and phone tapping surveillance.

BTW I agree with you about the gas price situation.
As for the Soviets you need to update yourself on that portion of history. Go read Anthony C. Sutton's books on how the Soviet war machine was built up by western corporate traitors who illegally sold and handed over the technology for them to become a threat. It's the same pattern over and over
