I recorded this off the TV in 2006 when the Edinburgh Fesitval was on but i've only just found it again.
Alan Rickman discusses the play 'My Name Is Rachel Corrie' and Snow Cake both of which where shown at the festival. It takes a minute for the picture to start but does eventually.

Thank you very much for this gem! It's hard to find a video where Alan gets actually asked about Rachel Corrie in detail. A great change from all the Snape stuff..

My Name is Rachel Thaler' is not the title of a play that is likely to be produced anytime soon in London. Thaler, aged 16, was blown up at a pizzeria in an Israeli shopping mall. She died after an 11-day struggle for life following the February 16, 2002 attack, when a suicide bomber approached a crowd of teenagers and blew himself up.

Alan Rickman got the info from Rachel's Journals and her parrents, he dug in deep to make this play the best that he can... He wrote it! I think is was a great piece!
