sorry but. bruce lee did not discard wing chun in fact thats the foundation of jkd because of it close range fighting (the best in the world)he added the boxing aspect because of its movementand it allowedtoyr hands to be free from contact which is the secret in that system, contact has to be made to be effective, boxing allowed him freedom of movement with his hands as well as feet (true jeet kune do)

WC is a compact system. It has its weaknesess, sure. Brazilian ju jitsu (groundfighting) is a good compliment. I celebrate quality technique. Most kungfu comments are handbags, grow up and develop your own skills. Saying Yip Man style is useless demonstrates a lack of respect and shocking naivity.

This dude Grados is the truth his wing chun really works in hood dues aint seeing this cat. He's from the hood chill's in the hood so you know his street fighting is on point. He make's wing chun really work on these streets, thats why it's street combat. Real street fighting application. His students aint no joke either.

Wing Chun can work anywhere you don't have to make it work on the streets;more over the techniques(close range,ambigdexterous approach the centerline theory)it's theory or backbone(Gung fu is what Wing Chun is apart of)is in Taoism(destiny through truth).Pretty much reason and purpose for fighting or self defense(Martial Arts).

Not bad Wing Chun stuff but nearly all the techniques were done from a pre-established contact or reference point and the one's that wern't were just counter attacks to S-D-A'S.
Why not try doing all those moves on a real good elusive P-I-A fighter in a contact spar and then post them on the tube, I'd like to see that a lot. Cheers.
