I remember watching them both through the years as a child.I loved them then and countinue to love them today. Although I seldom hear there muscic. They remain to be a fond memory of back when there were dragons and white horses that flew through the sky in a little boys imagination. The only differance's were. THEY WERE REAL, AND THEY CONTINUE TO BE TRUE TALENTS FOR THOSE WHO LOVED THEM.

I like her big arms also. She was a maturing woman who was very beautiful and natural and didn't cover up something like arms that so some age. She had dignity and a great voice and looked better as she got older....a real American beauty unlike today's woman with fake tits, liposuction and lifts until they are a different person than they started out to be. Yeah, she could sing. A person could not become a big band singer like she did in the WWII years without a phenomenal voice. You are right though that most of us learned of her after her vocal talents had faded late in life when she had her '70's talk show.
