Cool! This is such a beautiful start to an amazing album. My advice would be try to play the melody parts while still fretting at least some of the chord to add a little more fluidity to the whole piece. Excellent job!

If I'm not mistaken (which I may be because my music theory and aural comprehension are a little rusty) Mellon Collie is played on the Phrygian scale, which is the difinitive flamenco scale.
