Seen em 3 times at Hershey, PA. First time, with the release of TAAB. The roadies all wore long white trench coats with Tull written on back and kept piddling around on the stage. Crowd finally got impatient & the entire arena was screaming for the band. The roadies took off their coats and it was TULL all ready to play. The crowd roared. Now that's a rock band. Looking at this performance now you realize how great a band they are.

It's funny actually; Anderson took up the flute shortly after he first heard Clapton play guitar. He came to terms with the fact that he'd never be that good, and looked for an instrument he could excel at that nobody else was already proficient with in the rock genre. I'm damn glad he chose what he did.

That is fantastic. These guys know how to entertain, right? In addition to be an unbelievable band, they knew how to tweak and play with their audience, and we end up loving them even more! Viva Tull!

Ian Anderson, as well as being a great songwriter, also helped to maintain (and bring back) that it's cool to enjoy yourself on stage. This song still sounds ace.

I was at the Garden this week..not this show.. But saw the same show..I can only equate it to a religious experience of sorts. BY FAR the best line up with "Old Brittle Dick" on bass. I count myself as very fortunate to see them before his death and the subsequent departute of Barrimore Barlow. Any Tull fan who missed this line up unfortunately never Tull at their Very Best. Well thank God for Youtube.

Unfortunately I ... ( 2 weeks ago by Dansull123)
Unfortunately I wasn't even born yet when the band existed in this form. Tull has always been one of my Favorites. Ever since the Family road trip to DC, went to the "record" store (Cassettes were just becoming mainly popular) and my father nearly danced a jig in the Aisle when he found "Aqualung" on cassette. We listened to "Aqualung", "Woodstock" and "The Beatles" (The white album for you who don't know) the whole ride. I was probably 7 at the time. So......1985?
