Never get tired of watching this video. I can remember watching it when it premiered on New Year's Eve 1999/2000 and then about 6 more times the next morning when Sportscenter repeated. Every great moment in American sports seems to be here. A terrific video all around. Sure do miss the old ESPN.

Most people are so interested in sports that they expect everyone to love football, baseball, and hockey. They expect us to know how to respond when they corner us with the ubiquitous "how 'bout them dawgs?". They think that a man who doesn't love sports is less than a man, that a person who doesn't follow football or baseball or whatever is somehow not a true citizen. Sports are even considered to be so essential that it's thought that even children must particpate in them to grow up "normal"
