I am promoting Jesus and the inspired word of God and the SDA clergy are voiding it with their tradition of using small samples of it and the rest of their sermons are fillers. Jesus said , beware of the lkeaven of th ePharisees. Today he would say the same thing about SDA clergy. Satan has infested the SDA seminaries, especially the homiletic departments.

I start with bible and finish with bible. I use the Neh 8:8 approach to explain and apply the scripture. The message usually covers more than one topic because the audience is all over the map as far as age, interest, and spiritual maturity.

The Matthew account can be read in 9-10 minutes.I throw in a short micro story of contemporary interest that keeps th einterest of the audience since the majority of them spend most of their time with the things of the world. This is because the leasdership don't know how to get them invovled in practical outreach. They just voice the typical.."we need to share the gospel with our friends and neighbors"

are you critizising the whole sda organization or only particular members or particular pastors? why are you against sda?in your opinion, what is wrong with them? as far as i know, in all of so many dinominations, sda are the one dinomination that is very close to the bible when it comes to doctrins. sda follow the bible very closely, favorrably or unfavorably for them. unlike other churches who follow only what is in favor of them. for example: not to work or to have pleasure on Sabbath.

i don ´t know what your own answer to that question. i think it is not an isue because i never heard any arguement of this kind. in the bible says in the last days holy will become more holy and bad will become more bad or worse. for sure you know it, right? nobody is sinless. only those true christian(n ot any christian) who love Jesus nd keep his commandments faithfully will be found righteous before the 2nd c´ming but not those who unvalued the blood of Jesus. ´the way, r u an x-SDA?
