April is Prevent/Awareness of Child Abuse Month. These kids were abused by strangers & loved ones - physically, emotionally, mentally, sexually or by other modes. Some of these kids were killed by the abuse. Read the comments, many have given advice and information.

In 2004 1,490 children died from child abuse/neglect. 81% were younger than 4 years old! Help prevent child abuse by spreading the word. Be aware, tell OTHERS to look for abuse and REPORT IT!

´s more than those who tell. but i was one of the fortunate ones. when i was 10, i use to read to a little girl, Kendel Smith, in school. she was just 5 when her father shot and killed her, he tried to kill her 2 year old brother too, but the gun jammed. i still cry when i think about her.
