Americans are smart enough to tell what is best for America??? Americans were retarded enough to vote Bush in a second term... I dont know how smart that was... And having one win because of gender or race is such a horrible thing, because both candidates are potential strong presidents aswell as Edwards. Racism and Sexism do still exist and having a black or Women president will send a strong and empowering message.

I am part Black and will vote for Obama because he seems like the best candidate to me, not because of his coloring. I am also a female - but Hilary won't get my vote. It's perfectly reasonable to expect many Blacks and women can and will vote for candidates based on their merits, not their minority status.

Americans didn't vote for Bush, the electronic voting was rigged as it will probably be again. Also a defining portion of the vote was not counted which, when put all together, means Bush is an illegal president. It's easy to overlook the vote fraud which put Bush in power.
