This was so deserved. It goes down as a hallmark in modern cinema history. Probably one of the most gifted directors of all time getting his first Oscar, this is really touching. It gets even bigger when you think about the proportions. Thank you Steven.

I cant believe that in the 21st century there are some people leaving sick comments about the persecution of the jews during WW2 as if it didnt happen.I can only say these people are misguided and Obviously not very intellegent. If the Nazi's had won WW2 these people would not have the oppertunity (or freedom)to leave their thoughts on web sites like these.

Raoul Wallenberg deserves recognition too. His efforts saved over 100,000 Hungarian Jews from the clutches of Eichmann. And unlike Schindler, he didn't survive the war.
