remember how i said that i think the who should've opened with "my generation" instead of "baba"? i'm willing to bet they picked "baba" for an opener because incubus covered "i can't explain" (their usual opener, it seems). i thought "baba" was a weak starter. IMO, MG would've suited the beginning more; then they could've had "baba" somewhere in the middle of their set.

The Who were the ones that SUCKED!!! the other groups did a better job on The Who's material then The Who itself did. There is ZERO chemistry between Daltry and Townshend, and you can tell that they hate each other. The two of them should pack it in. If I was there I would have left after the other bands were done.

Wow that's just a crazy thing to say. I got to see the Who a few days after the VH1 gig and it was a far better performance. Most likely because it wasn't being done for a TV show. But I think there is tons of chemistry -ytc

Ok, I think all the bands that paid tribute to the who will never compare to the true greatness of the who style and sound, and their sound will never change, and another thing the who plays the songs better.

I thought the show was a massive disappointment. One thing that annoyed me the most was the fact that all the bands were American bands.... (as a few of you semi-intelligent people will work out the who are Brits)
Why wasn't there any British bands like Oasis? Or better yet why didn't they get the Animals or the Zombies or get Plant to perform for god sakes??? Sorry but foos and incubus are ok but no where near the level of the who.
