Hurricane Dolly lashes Texas-Mexico border
Hurricane Dolly was downgraded to a Category 1 hurricane today after it made landfall on South Padre Island, Texas, the National Hurricane Center said. But Dolly's sustained winds were still about 95 miles an hour. The storm is expected to produce from 8 to 12 inches of rain, with up to 20 inches in isolated spots, and widespread flooding is likely.

i applaud any news reporter or meteorologist for going out in weather like this and doing a report. it is incredibly difficult to concentrate and focus on what they're trying to tell to their audience in conditions like this, not to mention it's extremely dangerous, yet they are able to do it. props to all reporters that do this.
