the earth is cooler now than in 1998. According to NASA satellite temperature sensors, and Hadley in the UK there has been no year since 1998 that has been warmer than 1998. Also those NASA sensors show quick cooling in the earth since january 2007. All this time though since 1998 co2 levels have been rising.
