Man, I tell ya, you guys dont even take the time to look at logic, if Pain was a character in jiraya's made of story book, then that would mean that Pain himself derived from an actual book, and just magically came to life. Naruto was named after jiraiya's character, because the character was depicted like and ironically posessed similar traits like Naruto, not that the actual chracter and naruto are the same person, becuase that would be stupid, which is how people are assuming of pain.
