Your vote wouldn't even be counted if you write in 'Ron Paul' on the ballot. Ron Paul isn't running. Vote for someone who has filed their intent to run for office (those are the only ones that will be counted).
Some candidates to consider as alternatives to Ron Paul and share very similar views:
-Bob Barr, Libertarian Party
-Chuck Baldwin, Constitution Party (endorsed by Ron Paul)
