It's open mic night. Volcano Joes is a popular study/eating spot for UH students. Most of them probably weren't there for open mic. I've done that open mic thing at VJs a couple of times, regardless if people are listening or not, its a lot of fun.

Mahalo for the comment. I'm glad you enjoyed the song. No, I don't use a pick. I've found that if you use a pick you can't use some of the strumming techniques I like to use on the song and it could scratch up the uke. Actually, even using my nails has scratched up my uke a bit when playing songs like this.

Mahalo for the comment. As for the chords it's just Am G F and that's about it outside of the fills and small kine solo bit. For that I just close my eyes and start hacking at the uke feeling lucky if at least two of my fingers end up on the right notes. haha nah, but I don't know how to explain those parts too well. Somebody should have yelled "Hey everybody, SHUT THE FUCK UP!!" before they started recording this. I'll have to try this on my ukelele, haven't got the thing out in awhile, to busy playing on my extensive collection of guitars.
