Only in a secular society can both sides seem to cooperate and endure friendships. The more society sways towards one side or the other, whether promoting religion or being hostile towards it, our differences and strong opinions come to the forefront and our ability to get along diminishes.

What will you do when you find out it's true?
The three prong attack of haldor: 1) Intimidate whenever possible 2) Claim to know everything and everything is "nothingness" 3) When all else fails, cry out "I'm a victim and you are mean" You don't sound like much of a spiritual thought leader to me.

There is a growing movement of direct experience of God. Belief in God, or more accurately, dogma, will always be a poor substitute for the living reality of God manifesting every moment of your life. This comes about through a peaceful presence, described by christ ("look at the lillies of the field, they toil not, .. yet solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like these"). Christ found "the father" through stillness, and knew this was in all of us.

more ..Christ also recognised that "it is not I but the father WITHIN me that does the works - I can of my own self do nothing". He added, of course, that "all these things I do, and greater shall you do". Jesus knew the deal - be still and just BE, and allow the "father" to be with you (as in the lillies of the field). Jesus was no more the literal son of God than me or Tolle, he just realised spiritual truth and ever since religion has bastardised his word and it's lost all truth. Be still!

Westside- forgive haldor and enddog for they know not what they do. They are spiritually blind. I have told them time and time again that they are serving satan and are being tricked by his deception- but they take great joy in believing that they have found the answers and love to try to intimidate.
Spiritual blinding is something that is discussed in the Bible in Revelation. Perhaps this is just more evidence that we are in end times.

If Adam and Eve were ordered not to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, because then they would know good and evil, they must not have known good and evil before. If they didn't, then it hardly would have been fair for God to judge them for doing something "evil." How could they sin without the knowledge of good and evil?
