The only problem with what Obama said here is that it is the educated way of describing the truth. I am educated, rural and bitter. that's not what he said. he said these people who have economic problems but also happen to engage in traditions like hunting, gun ownership, going to church etc (not used in this clip, but an example he used elsewhere) will end up voting for the party they feel is more in touch with those traditions (or is pandering to them) rather than one that has their economic interests in mind. stop hearing what you want to hear and listen again.
