No, not really. A simple prayer'll bring the rain. We did, however, have to put up with a year of taunts from U fans who shoved religion in our faces. It's not called "the Holy War" for nothing. It's hard to explain the tension that goes into this game - I wouldn't be surprised if there were a number of U fans praying while all us Y fans were pouring our hearts out in supplication.

the 'answered prayer' is a term used in any sporting event. listen to commentators in games. when it comes down to the last few seconds, someone will almost for sure say "and he throws up a prayer". so its just a term, dont take it too personal.
