However depending on who you talk to the first "Music Video" was either Bob Dylan's
"Subterrian Homesick Blues" or The Who's "Happy Jack."
As for Thriller being the first Music Video, the video was released in 1984, 2 or 3 years after MTV first showed Video Killed the Radio Star on Aug. 1, 1981. Thriller was just the most expensive one.:)
