why couldnt artists stick with this kind of music. i mean back then these people had style and rhythm and now we have all these artists like "soulja boy" "50 cent" and "lil john" who just sing random shit about anything that basically doesnt even make sense. my point is that this music is awsome and great to dance to, i just wish we could of stayed with this kind of music.

i agree with kazu, the reason why they didnt stick with this is because rappers composed tunes alot of kids thing is cool, like soulja boy... cant even go to a skating ring without rap anymore.. alot of the noises in rap is basicly just enough bass to deafen you to their bad music.

Record labels and radio stations like KISS, where afraid that it would hinder Top 40 music.So they figure it was cheaper to give them a good amount of money.
