I will take an educated guess and say that the Florida bridge was over Escambia Bay in Pensacola, right? Anyway, wonderful song from the great year of 1978. I was just 15 and had my life ahead of me. Great tune.

The campground area ...( 3 months ago by dmajTX)
The campground area that was filmed is Fort Desoto Park that is on the extreme southern end of St Petersburg. Which is as someone noted where the Sunshine Skyway is (was) bridge was destroyed after a large ship rammed it during a thunderstorm. The shrimp boats photos where probably at John's Pass, which is closer to St Pete Beach. I remember when the beaches looked like that.. So sad that is long gone. A perfect compilation though for the song. What once was, is no longer. And that is sad.
The shrimp boats ...( 3 months ago by datacreed)
The shrimp boats were in Naples, FL.. think "Tin City".
Thanks for the additional info.

Al Stewart sure can write some great songs and perform some great music, I sure wish he was a better known artist though, I think Al Stewart is one of the most underrated singers in music history.

Great song, by a great artist. I remember this song from that year while growing up in Ontario, Canada. Walking to the ice rink for public skating in winter time reminds me of that time when I hear this tune. Beautiful song at a time of innocence. :)
