Jewish-Israeli and Palestinian singers and musicians joined together to perform the Hebrew-Arabic song "Hevenu Shalom Aleinu" (We Brought Peace Upon Us) - "Ma Ana Ajmal Min Salam" (There is Nothing More Beautiful Than Peace).
Sung in both Hebrew and Arabic, this Middle-Eastern, inspiring, jazzy song challenges us to overcome decades of hatred and suspicion and appreciate the common humanity of both people. Let the power of music, song and dance replace hate, racism and demagoguery.
If, after singing along with this v
ideo, you find yourself wondering "what can I do for Israeli-Palestinian peace" - here are some suggestions: 1) Simply send this link to your mailing lists, to inspire people to be peacemakers; 2) donate money to humanitarian initiatives, such as the upcoming "Break the Gaza Siege" (www.freegaza.org
); and 3) go and see for yourself. Plan a visit to Israel, the West Bank and Gaza. There are several organizations which can help you with such a trip. In any event, don't remain silent. Silence is complicity.
The song, which later became the anthem of Peace Child Israel, was performed by the foll
owing singers (in order of appearance):
Jewish-Israeli -
Leah Shabat
Shlomo Gronich
Zehavah Ben

You either get tired fighting for peace, or you die....John Lennon peace and earth muffin hugs, vicki
Nevertheless the most sad part of the conflict going on in palestine is that the Arabs and Jews have a lot of similarities, and their partically one race (almost), and their killing each other??????
Peace Inshallah ...... Inshallah As'salam alakum.
1. Most of us Israelis don't consider ourselves to be of one race. Nothing in my blue eyes & blonde hair resemble an average Arab. Jews in Israel come from either Europe (55%) or Asia/Africa (45%), and they all look like the people in their country of origin.
2. Are you saying people shouldn't fight if they're from the same race? What a racist thing to say! Race shouldn't be the thing that unite people together, thats horrible. 3. Thx for all of your prayers :)
this killing and blood spilling should stop now
every side should think of a new way to solve the unsolved
cuz the old ways has definitly led us to no where but destruction
more and more civilians are killed on both sides every year what good could come of that
history is filled with such cases but they never remain we should learn from past mistakes
and we all know that this war will come to an end sooner or later
so we'll prey for that day to come fast
salam from LIBYA
R u kidding me? Hear I am wanting peace in the Middle East and wanting 2 reunite our people, so we can stop killing each other for the better, like in the old days when we lived together in PEACE. Except until zionist Jews like U came & invaded Palestine. And all u want 2 do is contradict my words like i'm saying a bad thing!
Dude what the hell is wrong with u? Btw i've been 2 Palestine and I honestly couldnt tell the Jews and Arabs APART! As'salama Alakum.
