First-ever live performance of "Message in a Bottle" by the Police. Song had not yet been released. Filmed for a Brit TV show called "Rock Goes to College" filmed at Hatfield Polytechnic College.

This was recorded in 1978 for the bbc rock hour. I remember being 17 in 82 and hearing it on the radio after dropping a date off late and getting home in time to record most of this concert on tape. Damn, if I don't still have it too. The Police were just Giants back then before anyone even saw them coming. GOOD STUFF!!! Memories still work.

I first heard on The Police in 1980, when I was a senior in highschool, and instantly became a fan. I love all the old police material, and Sting's solo work. Incredible band!
