It wasn't just the 300 Spartans they had back up but the Spartans took care of it so they really didn't need it I mean they did help a little but the Spartans really are the ones that did all of the killin. And lets not forget the Athenian Navy if not for them and the storm they would have flanked the Spartans. Spartans are the best soldiers of all time, But battels aren't just won on land.

If anyone wants to see an actual historical movie rent "300 Spartans" its from the 60s and alot more accurate but the fight scenes are cheesy as fuck.
