Many people in India and China welcome closer ties between the two countries, but some - including Tibetan refugees in India - do not.
China does not recognise them as refugees and many are escorted from Nepal into India where the Dalai Lama has his government in exile. As a result, Tibet's refugees live an uncertain life. Matt McClure reports from Delhi.

"Two asian neighbors cooperation on trade and otehr issues may have better (something) for the next generation". Al Jazeera made this? So Palestinians (mulsims) loose thier land, can't hear the end of it. Tibetians lose thier land its well maybe they can jsut muddle through. Come on Aljazeera keep a balance, Tibetians deserve their country as much as Palestinians do.

Another example of why foreign nations want to appease china by not supporting tibet. A strong ecomony brings strong political power. No country wants china as their enemy becuase that will hurt their economy.

One recurrent story we hear about China, in the western media, is that the central government is not at fault regarding corruption in China. We hear that local officials and local law enforcement are guilty of shaking down the local citizenry for money. If the local citizenry would stick together, and if they had the means (weapons-guns) they could easily overthrow the corrupt officials.

I am a card carrying member of the communist party in china. I once had a hukou card and could not travel or study or get a good job. I could not even visit Beijing. I counterfeited a identification card and re-designated myself as Han chinese. After killing 10 Falun Gong members I was given a medal and a plaque and promoted on my job.
