This is an amazing video session. I am going to tell my friend and assciates to come her to view it. I helped produce both Live8 and Live Earth viewing gatherings in San Francisco. It's true, we should all take this matter seriously because when ice melts and water rises, also heavy rain and oceans waves will erode soil of any land, flooding will occur and people will be forced to move to another land. The result of that occuring is people who lost their habitat will be forced to move somewhere else, major problem of overcrowding, where are people gonna go to seek refuge? hellooooooooo, wake up, taste that salt water as it creeps up to your ankle!!

Al personable and articulate, at his best. 5 years now, till the polar ice caps are gone? G-8 defaulting that badly, how disgusting. I didn't find Mr Gore rude at all, what was meant by that comment? On the contrary, very engaging, I love to listen to this man. Looking good, Al. The real man speaks his mind. I like him best when he's got fresh material and arguments, and this discussion was fresh...except for maybe some practiced jokes and deflections, but that's okay. Bono was okay too.

Everyone is already suffering now - the rich countries, the poor - no one is safe from increasing poverty, global warming, wars and conflicts and so on We really have just 2 options - Either our civilization and half of world population dies; Or we really change But its gonna be difficult With 300 million Americans devouring 50% of world oil each year, and spending 19% PERCENT OF THEIR GDP ON "DEFENCE" each year. 20 century was one of the bloodiest in the history of mankind - 21 can be worse

The earth is our mother, and it is wounded. It is out of balance and needs to be healed. Global Warming is a reality, and only by a concentrated effort involving individual citizens, civil society, and our government leaders can we address the many causes for the precarious situation we have created for ourselves here on earth.

I'm riding the fence when it comes to the truth about global warming. The reason why I am torn is because of the ice caps on Mars. The ice caps on Mars are receding at an incredible rate. Does the exaust from the SUVS on Earth effect Mars. Could it be that the sun is just getting hotter? Something to think about.
