Yeh Stevee it is PP Arnold. I love her. Tina, Ike and the girls used to play at Hammersmith Palais very regular, seemed like almost every week lol. The last time we saw them their Pat had a broken arm obviously in plaster and obviously we signed the plaster. I think that was about the time she left the revue. The best gig we saw was when they opened for the stones at royal albert hall. totally brilliant nite never to be forgotten. ike and tina were awesome as were the stones.

Not sure what quad sound has to do with anything here... Phil Spector was a strict devotee of mono cos he felt that multiple channels took control away from the producer and put it into the hands of the listener. He wanted you to hear the song the way he put it together.

was actually looking for a different version of this track and being in my twenties it's easy to regard Tina Turner as just another old diva.
