1997-2000 was my favorite Michigan era cause of the A-Train (my favorite Michigan running back that i remember watching live) other Michigan faves from this era included Griesie and Henson (i hated Brady at this time, and i still do) David Terell and Marquise Walker, as well as the 97 defense, greatest defense ever.

Drew Henson had a rocket. I was at the UM/MSU game in 2000 and couldn't believe it when I saw it live. It's really a shame he couldn't pick one sport. Ultimately I think that ended up being his downfall. He prolly would have been a top 10 pick if he stuck with football. Hard to turn down $17 Mil though.

I hated Henson never lived up to the hype they only won 14-0 against MSU that year- subpar performance and one of those the was a-train touchdown. Henson screwed UM over in '01by saying he would be back for his last year two years into future because that's how long it took Navarre to mature as a QB when he should have been growing on the bench and in mopup games in 2001.
