1924-1929 silent movie sweethearts to the music of Sweethearts on Parade by the Jean Goldkette Orchestra. Goldkette and his orchestra sound much like the "sweet" music of Guy Lombardo in this recording. This "sugary sweet" piece was composed by Carmen Lombardo and recorded by Goldkette on the Victor label November 1928 in Chicago. The orchestra included Jimmy and Tommy Dorsey, Bix Beiderbecke, Frankie Trumbauer, Eddie Lang, and Joe Venuti with vocals by Van Fleming.
