I'm always amused when people on YouTube place a comment then get upset when someone else comments on it, as if this isn't an open forum. You put it out there, expect to get a response, especially one that isn't like yours. As for your comment, we have no business in Darfur's affairs, why do we have to answer for another countries' problems? Let's get our house in order then we'll look to help others. Both the usa and the uk and others are giving huge sums of money to this corrupt Government. But most of the arms are in fact coming from the chinese...who are taking the oil and paying in guns and arms.

We definately need to decrease the active duty size, but you have a point. George Washington was against having a standing army. But just because we have an army doesnt mean we need to use it. You never know what might happen in the world though.

I think most of the candidates know ron paul will win new hampshire but the problem is getting to the disenfranchized republicans in other states. Especially since they close their primaries so early independants wont have time to switch to republican

Lincoln wasn't really that great of a leader. Slavery was on it's way out, he just gets the credit for ending it. Lincoln was the catalyst for illegally strong central government and American fascism.

You actually raise a very good point. Same thing with FDR. I've actually been on the fence as to whether Lincoln was a great President. Not because he contributed to the abolition of slavery, but because of the expansion of federal power he presided over.
