The effects in "Fantastic Voyage" were not the greatest, even by 1966 standards. The blood cells reminded me of Monster Bubbles, or the inside of a lava lamp. And the "antibodies" that attacked Raquel Welch looked like little bits of brown plastic. But the submarine was way cool! I always wanted a sub like that.

Yeah I think so too that most of the special effects looked way too fake. I like the submarine design too as it had interesting technology. I've designed a traveling vessel myself as it carries only one person and it moves fast and has technology that does no damage to human health.
