it's a great game. The last of their great games. I play it when i can. It's still fun, even after the sixth time around. One of their bests. My number 1. It also changed my life a good bit.

Oh man, time to dust off my PSX. This game was great... If you read this and didn't play the game, Go do it, trust me you won't regret it.

totally agree with you man. The first time I played it, it was like, wow.. we are going on an adventure to kidnap the princess.. in the process zidane and garnet fall in love the first sight, there it brings us on an adventure which is epic and out of this world. Best of luck on your adventure!

I was 7 when I got hold of Final Fantasy 9.. being the first RPG game I ever played, I quickly fell in love with the story and atmosphere, as well as the lovable characters. No matter what, the first Final Fantasy game I layed my hands on is always the best. =)

this game will be with me for the rest of my life, I loved the characters (ESPECIALLY VIVI), the involving fairy tale story, the gameplay, the score, I even loved the minigames (chocobos rock). ssssn I played 8 after 9 and though it was pretty good I was expecting so much (battle system flawed and not as interesting. I guess I'm more of a romantic than futurist). 7 good, but overrated to annoyance. 10 great, 11 improved battles but story and leveling were tedious; can't wait for 13.

yah there are only 3 rpg games i want squaresoft to remake..and those are final fantasy 9, chrono cross, and final fantasy 7...if that were to happen id be the happiest guy alive...
